Come and discover the art of Kintsugi at Céramicafé Geneviève! ✨
Kintsugi means: Kin, gold and tsugi, the joint: 金継ぎ, "gold joint". This is a Japanese technique of repairing broken ceramics with gold.
Since the traditional method cannot be done in a few hours, Céramicafé Geneviève offers you a discovery version of Kintsugi workshop, using resin glue and brass for the golden aspect. We will provide you with a room to repair, but you can bring your own object to restore.
You will leave directly with your repaired and enhanced piece at the end of the workshop!
The price is €45 per person and includes:
- A part to repair
- All necessary equipment
It is important to note that parts repaired with this simplified technique cannot be used for food use (decorative only).
