Modeling box - Create a pot in self-hardening mixed clay
Make a pot out of mixed clay to hold dried flowers or pencils using self-hardening clay!
No need to cook your pieces in our pottery kilns: this natural earth mixed with a resin dries in the open air, and solidifies in 24 to 48 hours. You can then paint your pieces, then varnish them: everything necessary is included in our kit.
This box includes:
- White self-hardening clay (approx. 600g)
- Red self-hardening clay (approx. 600g)
- 1 brush
- 1 sponge
- 1 wooden pick
- 1 pot of clear acrylic varnish
- 1 work board
- 1 illustrated and step-by-step guide, and a link to a video tutorial
Pick-up at Céramicafé or Colissimo / Point Relais delivery.
Our boxes are assembled in a partner ESAT. The ESAT is an establishment that supports people with disabilities, and aims at their social and professional integration or reintegration.
Additional information difference between the clay box (earthenware) and the self-hardening clay box:
Self-hardening clay does not require firing at 1000 degrees. It dries in the open air in 24 to 48 hours. Clay (earthenware) requires firing in a potter's kiln, up to 1000 degrees, to solidify the pieces.
