Do you want to share a creative moment with your child/niece/little cousin/... and create your own ceramic pieces together?
The modeling workshops take place in our ceramic café in the 11th arrondissement on Wednesday afternoons, at 6 rue Saint Bernard.
Y ou will discover working with clay . Thanks to this introduction to modeling, you will imagine and create your own pieces. For example, you can create a duo of eared bowls (like our famous Breton bowls!), or your breakfast cups, or pieces of your choice. You will thus create your ceramics with 4 hands and share a friendly and creative moment! You will be accompanied and advised by a ceramist who will give you all the secrets to create unique pieces.
Once completed, your pieces will be fired in a 1000 degree oven. We will then take care of the enameling (varnish) and the 2nd firing of your piece in our pottery ovens. Your pieces will be available a few days later, finished and usable on a daily basis.
Includes all equipment. Price is for two people (Adult and Child)
The duration of the course also includes participation in the storage and cleaning of tools and space, an integral part of this activity. 😊
An option to decorate your terracotta piece (painting on ceramic) can be offered to you with an additional charge of €24/2 hours. (The decoration cannot be done on the day of the modeling workshop, but only after drying and firing, and before the 2nd firing).
The modeled pieces are kept for a maximum of 2 months. They must therefore be collected within this period.
Maximum 8 places per workshop. Parent-child workshop, minimum 10 years old for the child, necessarily accompanied by an adult participant who will also be there to accompany him during his creation. Exchange/Cancellation up to 10 days before the workshop.
