Do you want to share a creative moment with your child/niece/little cousin/... and create your own ceramic pieces together?
The throwing workshops take place in our ceramic café in the 14th arrondissement on Wednesday afternoons. Price for a parent/child duo: €100 for both participants.
Join us for a 2-hour introductory workshop on the potter's wheel, animated and supervised, in a small group! Discover ceramics and working with clay as a family. You will learn the basic gestures and shape your first earthenware pieces. The session takes place with a demonstration by the ceramist, practice with one wheel per person, and includes cleaning of the wheels and equipment by everyone.
You will be able to keep the piece of your choice. After the workshop, we will take care of the enameling (varnish) and the firing of your piece in our pottery kilns, at 1000 degrees. Your piece will thus be available a few days later, finalized and usable on a daily basis.
Includes all equipment. Price is for two people (Adult and Child)
An option to decorate your terracotta piece (painting on ceramic) can be offered to you with an additional charge of €24/2 hours. (The decoration cannot be done on the day of the throwing workshop, but only after drying and firing).
Turned parts are kept for a maximum of 2 months. They must therefore be collected within this period.
Maximum 6-7 places/workshop. Parent-child workshop, minimum 10 years old for the child, necessarily accompanied by an adult participant. Exchange/Cancellation up to 10 days before the workshop.

Practical information: We advise you to come in suitable clothing and without manicures (a messy activity, even if it comes in the washing machine!), as well as to each come with a tea towel, and if possible, an apron or blouse.
